Rise of the Phoenix

This is my entry for communityrelations and CRPhotomanipulation contest Rebirth and Renewal. [link]

This is my interpretation of the rebirth of the mythical firebird. The Phoenix lives for many years and near its time of death it builds a nest and when it dies, it bursts into flames. And from the ashes rises a new Phoenix.
One day a curious woman decides that she wants to see this amazing phenomenon and travels far and wide to search out the legendary nest. And eventually witnesses the beautiful transformation of the Phoenix. There is sadness as the magestic bird expires from the world, but soon a small miracle will happen and the Phoenix shall be reborn.
